Well, it's been awhile since I posted anything so I thought I would bring you all up to speed on my exciting life;)

***The following has been modified as a certain someone, who shall remain nameless, mentioned that it could be viewed as insensitive;)***

First, no more boyfriend. We broke up last week and it was a mutual decision. He said it best when he stated that we just weren't compatible. I think the majority of this comes from our cultural differences. It was better to separate, but it I think he took it harder since, as he told me, I was his first love. But at least we both gained positive things from the relationship, and that is what's really important.

Secondly, I signed a new 3 month contract at the ITC!! So, my contract officially ends on Nov. 9th....then I will have to wait and see again about a new one. But I'm still happy:)

I waited, impatiently, for the new Harry Potter to come out last Saturday. Since mine arrived in the States (I wanted the same cover artwork as all my others), I had to borrow my roommate's once she finished. Which didn't take long because she planted herself on the sofa for 2 days and read...from early morning to night. So, I started Monday and finished Wednesday night and I can now sleep more soundly knowing the end of the awesome story. I can't wait for the last 2 movies!!

Also, I have officially booked my ticket to go home at Christmas:) So, I will arrive in TX on Dec. 13th and leave on Jan. 4th....I am so excited!! But December is a long way away:( I'm hoping I will have the chance to go home for a week in November so that I can go to a wedding (so excited for you, Monica!), but it will be dependent on if I get another contract. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can go!

Well, that's all I have for now. Hopefully, more exciting things will start happening in my life or else I'll have to change the name of my blog!

I've learned.... That simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.

I've learned.... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

I've learned.... That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.

I've learned.... That money doesn't buy class.

I've learned.... That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I've learned... That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
