Hi everyone! Just checking to see if posting pics is easier with the Firefox browser, and it is! This is a pic I took about 3 years ago....Geneva is known for many things, and the Jet d'Eau (Jet of Water)is one of them. It's ginormous...I think they said it's 300 ft. high or something. I guess I better get the facts before I start trying to sound like I know what I'm talking about:) Bigger update to come!
Still alive....!
So, I'm into my second week of work already and I have to say that I'm pretty happy:>) Everyone is really nice, and although there is a lot of work it is 'do-able' and not extremely difficult. And I am really surprising myself by getting up every morning at 6 am to do a little workout while I watch episodes of 'The Office' that I downloaded from iTunes.....I guess I am following in my father's footsteps! Well, maybe not to that extreme....he does get up at 2 or 3 am to work out/study/eat/get ready for work! I'm not THAT crazy yet:>) (Hey...no comments there!) But it does get me off on the right foot before heading out to work. And while I'm on the bus, I tend to rehash the episodes and find myself smiling or trying not to laugh out loud. Does anybody else watch that show?! It's so hilarious....Steve Carell is awesome!Well, not a whole lot has happened because I tend to come home and relax, then go to bed early so I can get up at the butt crack of dawn. Last Saturday night I hung out with my officemate and some others from work at her apartment...they were all either Mexican or Brazilian, but we spoke English all night! Random....I thought for sure I'd be picking up muchos amounts of espanol. I had a bit too much to drink and spent all of Sunday and part of Monday recovering. I definitely should've eaten dinner before going over to hang out with Mexicans and Brazilians!! I was even dancing! Well, attempting to dance salsa and some Brazilian move that I forgot the name of....muy fun;>)For those of you who are STILL waiting for an email from me....I promise I will get right on that! Most normal people do that kind of stuff while they're working, but I actually have WAY too much to do to even think about doing that at work!Hasta la vista, amigos.....A la prochaine fois, mes amis!
